Investors

Kachi believes that there are unique opportunities to create value when investing in companies in the junior middle market ($2-6 million EBITDA). Most fundamentally, this value comes from successfully transforming these companies from entrepreneurially run to professionally run organizations. We find that, both logically and viscerally, our investors agree.

Kachi represents high net worth individuals and family offices who are seeking to partner with industry-leading management talent that is leading this transformation. We are a fund-less sponsor that raises equity on a deal-by-deal basis, which is an investment structure that offers numerous advantages to our investors. These include: broken deal costs not borne by investors, the option of case-by-case investment decisions, no pressure to deploy capital or exit due to fund life cycle considerations, and no management fee charged on un-deployed capital. Practically speaking, many of our investors invest with us serially to maintain their exposure to Kachi's style of value creation in the junior middle market while increasing their diversification. Our investors typically invest between $250,000 and $1 million per transaction, either by evaluating and investing in each of our deals on a one-off basis or by making a larger commitment to two or more investments at a time.

Each Kachi professional makes a meaningful personal investment in each of our deals on the same terms as our outside investors. As a result, our individual and organizational goals are closely aligned with those of our investors.
